Born on 20.July.2008 , 1.47pm, 2.47 pm, 5.47pm and 6pm.
It was the 62th day of Diva's pregnancy, when the first pup came out of her body, in a bloody mess, the heave of relief, the happiness and the joy just cannot be described in words. The first thing that actually came out of my bro's mouth is "wow! it's a full collar one " hahas. Exactly 1 hr later, the second pup is on his way, a smooth delivery just like the first and "Boy, he's a lil bigger in size and what a huge collar he has ! " he quickly settled in next to the first pup and we got really busy snapping pictures of them.(2 sables, 1 girl & 1 boy) Lots of praises showered on Diva while she's kept busy by the pups.
A long long wait, we almost gave up thinking there will be a third pup and almost left for lunch. 2hrs plus later Diva got up from milking and she seems in pain. After some struggle, she managed to give birth to the third pup, a tri boy this time but to our horror Diva gave up after some time trying to bite off his umbilical cord. Luckily bf knew what to do, quickly cut off the cord and tie the bleeding area with thread. In the midst of doing all this, we saw a tiny head popping out of Diva ! It's the fourth pup !! Thankfully she was delivered w/o much difficulty. Only problem when we realise the third pup was losing weight instead of gaining, bf took care of the problem. Slowly he gained weight and caught up with his siblings :)
Suddenly it dawn to us, 4 pups ? 2 sables 2 tris ? We had 1 sable girl, 1 sable boy, 1 tri boy & 1 tri girl ! How lucky can we be? On top of all that, all of them are full collar with beautiful face and sockings ! The girls both have a lil diamond on their forehead :) that's just so sweeeet.
Diva's not giving us any room for complaints with this litter. She gave us 1 of each with the markings that we dreamt of, she's just wonderful. Happily milking the pups, caring for them.
